Zoe Eleanor Davey
After her first appearance as ‘Bottom’ in a ‘Midsummer Night’s Dream’, Zoe’s love for acting grew as she went on to play ‘Viola’ in ‘Twelfth Night and ‘The White Witch of Narnia’ in the operetta of ‘The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe’.
Her journey through classical and contemporary theatre led her to pursue a BA (Hons) Degree in Acting at The University of Northampton, School of the Arts. There she took on the roles of ‘Lady Macbeth’ in ‘Macbeth’ and ‘Fabiana Aziza Cunningham’ in ‘The Last Days of Judas Iscariot’, both at the Royal & Derngate. Self produced work saw her as lead role, Helena in an adapted version of Shakespeare's 'All's well that end's well' and also as 15 year old school girl Charlotte in Pinch Theatre Company's, 'Dystopia'.
Undertaking roles in ‘Miss Saigon’, ‘Killed’, ‘Troilus and Cressida’ and in a few short films over the last few years, Zoe is working on building her resume in the acting profession.
She has 6 years experience in film work, graphic design, photography, set design and construction and makeup design. In recent years she has devised theatre pieces and started her own commission art and photography business. Zoe is also interested in voice over work, clowning and stage combat.
She is part of 'Pinch Theatre' who performed in Northampton's Flash Theatre Festival in May and as part of Bedford Fringe Festival in July. She is currently a Creative Projects Associate of the Royal & Derngate and creating commissioned work with her company 'Zoe Davey Art & Photography', which also includes web and logo design, graphics, marketing and filming.
